Appleby Social Work offers practice development and consultation, as well as independent social work services. We are available for commission by statutory, private and voluntary organisations as well as members of the public.

We specialise in Children and Families services, with a specific focus on restorative, and risk sensible practices.

Our workers are experienced practitioners who share a strengths based and solution orientated practice ethos, and place value on the network of connected people.

Children and family social work is at the root of Appleby, however, with the skills that we have onboard we have also been able to branch out into practice consultancy, specifically in relation to workforce and practice development, Ofsted readiness and quality assurance.

We take a pragmatic, person centred approach to all elements of our work and utilise reflective and restorative practices when working with children, families and colleagues alike.
